Irrigation history 1976-2005:
Ian Lister tells his story…

I started my training in 1969 with 'Chem-Air', in Stanthorpe Queensland.

By 1977 I decided to spread my wings and began to 'fly solo' by launching 'Lister Irrigation' from the 'grandeur' of my home garage. The business rapidly outgrew these premises necessitating a move to larger premises.

This expanded to include three southern Queensland outlets: Stanthorpe, Warwick & Toowoomba, employing a staff of 12.

Irrigation Consultants offer:

• Advice on optimum usage of, and management of, water.
• Advice on 'Bio' & 'Grey' water distribution.
• On-farm (domestic) consultation & training, enabling producers, manufacturers & gardeners to recognize & attend to their irrigational needs.
• Bore management.
• We supply, install & service the entire range of Irrigational Products, including slim-line & rain water tanks, these with a 25 year written guarantee.

Our credentials include:

• 36 years' experience and 29 years in business.
• Named among Queensland's Top 50 Small Businesses.
• Designed, installed & supplied irrigation to Barkworth Olives at Inglewood , covering a total Irrigation area of 1500 acres.
• Designed & supplied subsurface Lawn Irrigation for Woolworth Big W Distribution Centre at Warwick.
• Provided plans, supplied & installed a variety of Irrigation & Filtration to Parks & Home Gardens etc.
• Supply & installation of:
  • Automatic Watering Systems for Toowoomba City Council.
  • Booster Pump & Sprinklers to Warwick Turf & Hockey Club.
